Morphology
Guppies differ in their color and appearance based on sex; the males are usually brightly colored. Guppies have pectoral fins high on their body, males have an anal fin to fertilize the female with. Females usually grow from four to six centimeters and males usually grow from two centimeters to three centimeters. |
Guppies can be found in the Caribbean and parts of South America but has also been introduced to other continents except Antarctica.
